Dear
Friends and
Colleagues
Since their inception a decade ago, COGI (Controversies in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility) congresses have been recognized as the leading meeting formats for clinical updates on the most pressing questions of the day. At COGI, physicians meet with outstanding experts in all areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology: perinatology, menopause, gynecology, endoscopy, oncology and infertility. The COGI World Congress is designed as an umbrella for the ever-growing number of subdisciplines of our profession. The program is especially planned to engage in controversial issues in all fields related to Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility. Change and development are the main features of the Asia Pacific area today. Some debates are especially meaningful for this part of the globe, while others are common world wide. This issue will be embarked upon in depth, and with care. COGI
in Beijing, which took place in
November 12-15, 2009, is being
organized with the support of the Asia Pacific
Association of Gynecologic Endoscope
(APAGE); Royal Thai Colleague of
Obstetrics and Gynecology
(RTCOG); Asia Oceana Federation
Obstetrics Gynecology (AOFOC);
Asia Pacific Menopausal Federation
(APMF); Asia Pacific Initiative
on Reproduction (ASPIRE); World
Association of Perinatal Medicine
(WAPM) and
the Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention and Control (APOCP). Previous
COGI congresses have taken place in different
locations in Europe, Asia and
North America. COGI Congresses are most comprehensive, dealing with all the burning issues of our profession, and with emphasis on evidence-based discussion. We invite you to join us at what we believe will be outstanding scientific and social events in the City of Beijing. Prof.
